Places to Stay When you Get Here

The above photos shows a view of what it will look like when you arrive in Hawaii. Of course, if it's daytime. This was taken in the month of April. Remember, it is still quite green and lush. Summer has not yet arrived. So, the islands are still a little green from the Winter rains.

Above is another way to Travel Hawaii. This is a part of Go! Airlines and is a 9 passenger plane. Below is the interior of the plane. At least you get to see everything out of your big picture window.
I like flying Go! Airlines and Island Air. Why? Well, to me it's spacious and I get to take great aerial photos from their big picture windows. Besides all that a round trip ticket cost $89/rt on Go! (if you book online and in advance) and $99 on Island air again if done online an a month or more in advance. That is a great bargain. I don't know how long it will last since Aloha Airlines shut down. That gives way to less competition and therefore means higher prices from lack thereof.
Remember though there is a $25 to $30 fee if you want to make changes to your flight times.

I am used to flying on 9 to 15 passenger planes. That is the only way to get to Molokai, besides the ferry boat from Lahaina. I've been doing this for 33 years since I was a little child. My father worked for Molokai Air shuttle for years, this past year 2007 Molokai Air was shut down by Federal Aviation Board which was a big loss to the people of Molokai. We really patronized that company. It was around for more than 40 years and it was founded on Molokai. It was hard to see it stop operations abruptly. The island people mourned it's loss.

Hey! Hope to see you soon on the shores of hawaii.
