When did Hawaii become a state?

In 1893, Queen Liliuokalani, the composer of Aloha 'Oe, was abruptly removed from office by American revolutionaries, in what was acknowledged to be an illegal overthrow. Hawaii's monarchy came to an abrupt end. Hawaii became a territory in 1900 and 59 years later became an offical U.S. state in 1959.

I have tried my best to compile information about traditional hawaiian food, hawaiian symbols and meanings, traditional hawaiian foods, local package deals, what hotels to stay at, and how to make kalua pig. I have lots of Hawaii pictures and hope you enjoy them.
